Abstract:
     This insulator comprises umbrella discs, bar-core and metallic ends. According to the property and the strength of the bar material, the new structure of the ends is analyzed and designed. The new synthetic insulating material using silicone rubber basis is adopted as the material of the umbrella disc. It can withstand more than 0.6KV for leakage tracking and electric erosion. The above-mentioned three parts are adhered together by new technology to compose the insulator which has good properties for both mechanism and discharging under wet and foul conditions, and advantages of lighter weight, good flaxibility and fail-safety. It can be made individually in any case under temperature not exceeding 200 deg.C so as to save energy.
