Abstract:
     By means of painting uniform thin treatment agent on the surface of clean toughened glass (or porcelain) insulator, then treating the surface of insulator by one procedure selected from discharge, infrared irradiation, infrared and ultraviolet combined irradiation, and high temperature oven, and eliminating treatment agent adhere to surface of insulator, a sheet of very thin and strong hydrophobicity producing-film is obtained on that surface. This producing-film isn't aged and deteriorated easily during power system operating. So power frequency flashover voltage in clean mist and flashover voltage in dirt of treated insulator is developed largely.
