Abstract:
     A kind of signal-transmitting cable is gas (and water) unpermeable and high in mechanical strength. It is composed of a cable core and a cable sheath which is coated around the said core. The minimum thickness of the sheath is 100 mum. A layer of polyethylene is stuck on the metal band and a layer of polyamide 11 or 12 is coated on the layer of polyethylene.
