Abstract: |
|||
| The present invention concerns a process for manufacturing twisted electric wires with relatively thin high-quality insulation. The thickness of the insulation sheath is 3 to 100% of the radius of the minimum circumscribed circle for the complete twisted conductor group. The insulation sheath is formed by coating and hardening some kind of insulating varnish twice or several times. It is recommended to form the innermost insulation laye of the insulation sheath by applying the romosetting insulating varnish using an insulation coater or a roller press-coationg device. Thermosetting varnishes with a viscosity no greater than 300 cp at 30 deg. C should be used. | |||
