Abstract:
     A gem is produced by blending metalic elements of rare-earth, Nb3 ... into oxygen-contlaining octahedron single crystal of niobate. Gem thus produced has high index of refraction (2.2-2.3) which changes its color under different incident rays of light. The Moh's hardness is 7. Said gem is easily cut and processed by grinding. Both physical and chemical properties of it are stable. Said gem as an ideal material, is suitable for artificial jewelry and other ornamentations.
