| The growth of the combined-functional crystal NYAB in the presence of a flux is a technology belonging to the scope of crystal growth through cooling of melted salt. This invention uses K2CO3 and MoO3 as the flux, with which the synthetic starting materials in stoichiometric ratio were put into a crucible, and the growth of NYAB crystal proceeds by using a method of seed crystal in the oven for crystal growth from high temterature melt. The reaction equation is: (Figure and the chemical reaction equation) This invention presents the grown NYAB as a crystal material with combined functionality of self-frequency multiplication and self-activation, it can emit green light of 0.53 um. The growth process is easy to operate and the cost is low and thus is suitable for extended application. | |||
