Abstract:
This technique utilizes the principle of electrolytic polishing for trimming of harmonic gear, to trim the tooth-direction and the edge of tooth shape. Using a ring-shaped cathode plate, teeth of the gear (soft gear or steel gear) will be selectively anodic dissolved to the required shape. When rotating ring-shaped cathode plate (or rotating work piece) is used, the effect will be optimum. After the harmonic gear is trimmed, the surface smoothness of the teeth can be upgraded 1-2 grades, so that interference will be decreases and transmission efficiency will be raised by 5%-10%.
