Abstract:
     This invention introduces technique of catalytic aluminizing with rare-earth elements. After adding rare-earth elements of ytterbium, hafnium, tantalum, the hot dipped molten aluminium is used to aluminize the surface of iron and steel workpiece. While maintaining its existing mechanical properties, the original workpiece is added with new performance, e.g. corrosion-resistance, antioxidation at high temp., high strength and long service life. It can substitute expensive stainless steel.
