Abstract: |
|||
| In an aqueous alkaline solution, periodically reversed pulse current or voltage is used to degrease and clean metal surface. During cleaning, the metal acts as cathode or anode alternately and hydrogen or oxygen is educed out alternately on the surface. The cleaning effect of the said method is prior to that of DC electrochemical cleaning and the metal hydrogenation is controllable. The said method may be used in the pretreatment of metal before electroplating, painting, film conversion and rustproof surface treatment. | |||
