Abstract:
     A polishing solution for metallic surface is prepared from ammonium sulfate, sodium sulfate, and water. The solution is used as electrolyte. The workpiece, especially the small stainless steel one with complex surface, is electrolyzed in the solution at 50-99 deg.C for 2-10 min. with its original surface roughness less than 0.68 microns and its reflecting coefficient greater than 12%. The polishing solution and plishing process is of low cost.
