Abstract:
    The invention relates to a process for electrolytic pickling of stainless steel strip, in particular, consisting of special steels, titanium, aluminium and nickel, where the electric current is conducted through the strip indirectly without electrically conductive contact between the strip and the electrodes. It is characterized by the strip being run vertically through the process and the electrolyte liquid being fed in between the strip and the electrodes. The invention also relates to a device for carrying out the process.
