Abstract:
     This method is a double duplication method which solves the problem of machine ruling. It takes a machine-ruled blazed grating as matrix,many plastic patterns are first made by duplication, then the patterns are thicked by plating metal coating and electrotyping, and all-metal duplicate gratings, i.e. cast gratings,are then cast. It has the same blaze property as the matrix grating, and also has excellent heat-resistant and heat-conducting properties. It can be used not only in spectroscopic instruments, but also in high power density lasers in place of the machine ruled grating. This is difficult to be achieved by other duplication methods.
