| The method is first to dissolve iron scraps with acid into the waste water and then to adjust the pH value of the waste water into basicity and then to electrolyse, the heavy metals in the water are fully oxidized and co-precipitated with the iron-oxides. It overcomes the shortcomings in iron-scraps method, in which high pH value is needed for the full oxidation and, the insufficency of iron ion concentration, which is the leading factor in alkalinous electrolysing. Treated by this method, the electroplate waste water accords with the industry drainage standards. The precipitated dregs are processed into marketable powder preventing secondary pollution. | |||
