Abstract:
     Chromium plated steel collar belongs to the realm of surface treatment of fixed steel collar on annular spindle spinning frame, which aims at improving property of spinning with said steel collar, prolonging its lifetime, and enhancing efficiency of production. Ordinary steel collar after 3 months of usage is already worn out, and its lifetime is only one year. However, after special surface treatment of said collar and researching the law of nuclear growth of chromium atom, by changing the processing of plating hard chromium and selecting optimum current density parameter etc., fast chromium plated collar with fine crystalline, polished is obtained. Said collar is easily put in running, when spindle speed is at 17,000 rpm and diameter of the collar is phi 42mm, its lifetime is over 5 years, cut-off rate per 1000 spindle hourly is averaged at 16.52 thread, moreover, daily maintenance work is greatly reduced and the efficiency of production is improved.
