Abstract:
     The panoramic TV system of the present invention relates to the TV technology. At present, the horizontal angle of view field of a video camera is only some dozens of degrees. The present invention can increase the horizontal angle of view field of a video camera to 360 deg. by using a panoramic camera lens and its corresponding spiral scanning circuit. Together with a monitor, a videorecorder and transmission system, the panoramic TV system will be constituted. The said TV system enables the general TV monitor to display the unfolded planar image of the photographed scenery within 180 deg. view field. It posseses merits of large view field and image continuity and integrity, and it is applicable for the wide-angle applied TV system used in the fields of drill-exploration, under water observation, pipe inspection and others.
