Abstract:
     This invention presents a chromium solution for high efficieny brush plating of abrasion-resistant chromium coating. It composes of CrO3 as a main component with addition of halides and Ba(OH)2 in suitable amounts. It shows high current efficiency, high applicable current densities and high speed of sedimentation. The resulting plating is of a fine crystalline structure, showing high hardness and adhering firmly to the substrate. The equipment and process of production are simple, easy to operate, and can be widely used in the repairing various abraded parts, esp. of the parts of movable fit.
