Abstract:
     This invention deals with a multi-plate style stripping apparatus and method for stripping the electro-deposited metal layers, especially for electro-deposited zinc layer, from cathod plates. Its main features are to break the upper edge of the electro-deposited metal layer and to strip dynamically by means of micro-amplitude vibrations of a cutting tool. The apparatus is composed of a guide unit of the cathod plate, a breaking unit for the electro-deposited metal layer, a dynamic stripping unit and a machine base. It has following advantages: simple constructure, small size, extensive adaptability, large productivity, long service life and easy maintenance.
