Abstract:
     This invention involves to a method for mfg. Al-Li intermediate alloy. The pure lithium chloride is taken as electrolyte, with liq. aluminium adopted as cathode. No inert gas is necessary for protecting during the electrolytic process. It is characterized by simple technology, low impurity level in alloy, and high production rate yield with a current efficiency of higher than 99%. It is applicable for batch prodn. of Al-Li intermediate alloy with lithium content up to 15%.
