Abstract:
     The present invention relates to an automatically-crushbreaking, constant-volume feeding spot type hermatic device for a 60 KA side-insertion soderberg cell, which electrolyse melted aluminium oxide to produce metal aluminium. The said device consists of an automatic crusbreaker a constant-volume feeder, a pneumatic or manual pendent door and compressed-air piping. The airtight ratio of the pendent door itself is greater than 98%. When the said apparatus is used, automatic spot-type crushbreaking and constant-volume feeding may be completed without the requirement of opening the pendent door, and the air collecting efficiency of the cell may reach 90%. It is favourable to the improvement of working conditions, to the rational exhaustion of the smoke and to the stability of the production. The said device is designed and tested based on narrow space of an existing side-insertion soderberg cell, therefore the installation of the said device on a production cell needs no remarkable.......
