Abstract:
The present invention relates to a new process for purifying raw soldering tin by vacuum still, spiral mechanical crystallizer, and electrolysis in sulphuric acid-silicofluohydric acid solution. The said process is characterized by simple flow scheme, low production cost, high metal recovery, and reliable product quality. It is possible to make high purity Sn (greater than or equal to 99.95%) from raw soldering tin contg. 60-70% Sn, 30-40% Pb, and trace other impurities.
