Abstract: |
|||
| This invention provides a process in which slime containing mainly of gold and silver is etched out with 2-7 N hydrochloric acid at temperature of 25-90 deg.c. The etched liquor is directly used for electrodeposition, from which product with gold content not less than 99.99% is obtained, while silver does not get into solution, but remains in the residue. The process omits the procedures such as separation of silver, preparation of electrolte for gold and making of pole piece, etc. The recovery of gold is increased, while enviroment pollution come from traditional decomposition process by nitric acid and cooking with sulfuric acid as well as the dispersion of platinum and palladium can be overcome. | |||
