Abstract:
     The anode frame is made from stainless steel and the copper scrap is fed into anode frame for direct electrolysis. By selection of the loading method and the control of electrolytic parameters, anode frame of the stainless steel is free from electrochemical corrosion. This process may be used for direct electrolytic refining of copper scrap with copper content about 60% or more. The quality of electrolytic copper thus produced meet, the specifications of GB-466-64. The primary recovery of copper reaches 95 or over, the average current efficiency of anode is about 99%, and the average current efficiency of cathode is about 97%.
