| The present invention relates to a method for preparing pure iron foil by electrolytic formation which deposits on the titanium or titanium alloy barrate cathode by dc electrolytic deposition and continuous stripping. It features that a soluable anode is used, the electrolyte is composed of FeCL226H20 and a little amount of stabilizator and watter. The cathode current density is 0.01-0.35 A/sq. cm. The concentration of electrolyte solution is 75-100%. In the acidic electrolyte solution with pH value 0.1-3.5, the pure iron foil with thickness of electrolytic deposition of 20-100 micron, purity of 99.89% and excellent physical and mechanical properties is obtained. The pure iron foil is widely applicable to various fields as magnetic shielding meterial, high energy storage density Ni-Cr cell, packaging, etc.. | |||
