Abstract:
     The invention is refered to a process for the production of sebacic acid-a chemical electrolysis process, in which the diester of sebacic acid is synthesized by electrolytic oxydation with the adipic acid monoester as row material,and the sebacic acid of better purity is obtained through hydrolysis of the diester and final purification. The yield of the sebacic acid obtained reaches up to 85-93%. The current efficiency is above 91%.
