Abstract:
     This invention is an improved electrolytic equipment for chlorate, which consists of electrolytic bath and reactor. After the anodic plate of the electrolytic bath is welded to one face of the anodic terminal plate, it is entirely coated with a layer of conductive cover, such as an oxide of ruthenium. The anodic terminal plate of titanium is plated with a layer of metal having good conductivity, such as copper, on the face oposite to that welded to the anodic plate or on the anodic guide plate. Thus, when the electrode fails, the electrode may be entirely recoated. The characteristic is that the procedure for recoating a failed electrode is simplified, electrochemical corrosion at the inlet and outlet is reduced, and the total pressure drop of the bath is lowered.
