Abstract:
     This invention introduces a process and device for preparation of gaseous hydrogen sulfide with standard concentration by electrolytic method at 100% current efficiency. The cathode of electrolytic bath is made of insoluble metallic sulfide, such as silver sulfide, and the anode of electrolytic bath is made of platinum wire. The electrolytic solution is acidic aqueous solution. A definite quantity of gaseous hydrogen sulfide is yielded according to requirements by different strength of constant current. When carrier gas is passed through electrolytic solution at a definite speed, a gas flow with a definite concentration of hydrogen sulfide is obtained. The yield of hydrogen sulfide gas is unrelated with room temp. It depends upon the strength of current passing through the electrolytic bath. Hence the operation is convenient and the gas may be stored for a long period.
