Abstract: |
|||
| The decomposition apparatus of this invention is one using high-frequency electrical pulses to decompose water into hydrogen and oxygen. According to the characteristics of high-frequency pulses, the water decomposing apparatus operates at the optimal states by increasing the peak voltage of the power supply for electrolysis and adjusting the duty cycle of pulses so as to raise the electrolysis efficiency. The available optimal efficiency is about 83.9%. The said apparatus may be widely used in various internal-combustion engines, boilers, gas welders, and gas ovens. The produced hydrogen and oxygen may be used in mixing combustion with various materials. For example, when it is used in an internal-combustion engine, the hydrogen can change the combustion state and thus increase the machine efficiency by about 25%. | |||
