Abstract:
     According to this invention, such Ti part as Ti plate, porous Ti plate, Ti wire or Ti-wire net is used as cathode and ordinary carbon steel or iron part as anode. The anode chamber is isolated from cathode chamber by an anionic exchange membrane. The aqueous solution of chloride that is rich in Sm, Eu and Gd and has a pH value of 1.3-3.5 is used as cathode liquor and the aqueous solution of HCl or FeCl2 whose pH value is 1.0-3.0 as anode liquor.
