Abstract:
     It is widely used for cleanning the welding seams of stainless steel and oxides in the proximity, esp. for removing the scales of 2~3 mm thickness which remains on the closed ends of stainless steel containers after high-temp. treatment in a red furnace. The paste offers both acid-washing and passivating functions. The steel treated with this invention can reproduce its original silver luster. It contains nitrate acid and hydrofluoric acid, and uses the thickner (magnesium stearate), inorganic filler (magnesium nitrate) and buffering corrodent (sodium polyphosphonate) as carriers.
