Abstract:
     This rust-proof solution is suitable for the quick passivating and rust-proof treatment of iron or steel, especially for the reinforcing steel bars under hot state (350-700 deg.C), and is made of such components (Wt.%) as Fe(OH)3-((OH)3) (0.3-0.7), NaOH (0.3-0.7), NaNO3 (1-4), Na2SiO3 (0.3-1.5), Na2Cr2O4 (0.2-1.2) and water (residual). Its advantages are fast filming, good adhesion between film and substrate, low cost and no environmental pollution, and it is specially suitable for the linear passivating rust-proof treatment of cold-control reinforcing bar.
