Abstract:
     The present invention provides a basic chemical polishing solution for aluminium and aluminium alloy surface treatment, which uses sodium hydrate, sodium nitrate and heavy metal salt as basal solution and pyrophosphate or hexametaphosphate or metavanadate as additive. The invention can efficiently reduce the defects of "spotted pits" and "porkskin-like" on the product surface and increase the brightening of the surface. By using pyrophosphate or hexametaphosphate together with metavanadate simultaneously may be attained the effectiveness better still. Furthermore, by introducing polyglycol in addition, not only may be suppressed the generation of alkaline fog and ammonia during the process of polishing and improved the worker's labouring condition, but also can be still further brightened the surface of the product, make it be bright luster and reach mirror-smooth. The present invention is convenient to use and maintenance and of low cost.
