Abstract:
     The chemical treatment of aluminium surface, comprising acid etching by photoimaging and spraying an anticorrosive coating, can provide a corrosion-resistant aluminium alloy sheet suitable for decorative purposes. This method is featured by low cost, simplicity of technology, convenience in operation, with no pollution and low energy consumption. The patterns on the aluminium surface may be diversified such as scenery, human portraits or some geometric designs. The aluminium sheet thus treated has high mechanical strength, while the protective coating on the surface is highly corrosion-resistant and does not crack during machining. They are useful as a decorative material for making the inner walls of the refrigerator and of de luxe lifts, hotels, meeting rooms and furnitures.
