Abstract:
     The invented high efficiency corrosion retarder is composed of sodium tetra borate. sodium nitrite, sodium silicate, benzotriazole, polymaleic acid anhydride, ethylene-diamine tetramethylidene phosphoric acid and deionized water. The resource of raw material of the invented retarder is wide spread and its cost is low. It retards corrosion action of cooling system parts of diesel engine, such as the cylinder gacket and pump, and prolongs the inspection and repairing period. The said retarder has good anti-corrosion effect for aluminium parts, so it can avoid use of cast iron water pump, and creates the condition of popularization of its application in plate-fin type aluminium-made radiator in diesel engine.
