Abstract:
     Xylosma japonicum is made into segments in a certain length and diameter by sawing and spilting them, and the segments are tied into bundle whose size is correspondant to the capacity of boiler. A bundle of such degments is tightly fixed at corresponding position in the inner container of the boiler. The dirt is discharged once each shift, and a bundle of segments serves for a heating period. Not only may the generation of water scale be avoided, but also the formed water scale may be removed.
