| A long grounding electrode is put in electrolyte and kept a given distance to the metal body to be protected. The said metal body and grounding electrode are connected to a current source to form a protecting loop and polarize the metal body. The electrically connected area, electrode size and/or electric parameters are chosen such that the current transfer constant in the said loop is less than or equal to 10 to the power of -3/m. The said grounding electrode comprises central conductor, adhesive layer and protecting sleeve and is made of such materials (Mac%) as carbon-cantaining filler (40-80), rubber-base polymer (10-49.8), plastisizer (9-10), and sterilizer (0.2-10). | |||
