Abstract:
     The present invention discloses a process for enamelling, comprising coating a metal with powdered glaze containing up to 0.03% by weight of moisture, and then roasting the metal coated with the glaze layer in a furance at a temperture higher than the melting point of the glaze, wherein the dew point of air in the furnace should be no more than 10 deg.C. Alternatively, powdered metal may be blended with the powdered glaze to form metal ceramic or mixed ceramics of glass/metal. A powder glaze in the form of anhydrous slurry, as well as a hydrous glaze slurry with ploysaccharide compounds as suspending agent, can be used for enamelling of the matrix.
