Abstract:
     Trace nitrogen moderate temp. gas carburization is a new technology for the case-hardening of steel pieces. The deformation of the steel piece after common carburization quenching is great, and after carbon-nitrogen eutectic reaction it is easy to emerge abnormal organization that will shorten the life of the steel piece. In this invention reasonable drops, technology and other measures are adopted so that abnormal organization will not take place on the surface of the treated steel piece, the mechanical property can be raised by more than 15%, the gear precision loss is within a grade difference, the splined bore precision is higher than D4.5, the driven helical bevel gear unevenness and ellipticity are less than 0.20 mm. this invention can be adopted when the carburized case depth of steel piece is within 0.50-2.00 mm.
