Abstract:
     This invention concerns the colouring method of exposing the conventional porous anodic oxide film on aluminiun and its alloys to vapour of some organic cpds., so that, through adsorbtion and catalytic action of the film, colouring matters may be deposited in the small holes of the oxide film and converted to the bronze colour of different shadss, even to black colour film. This colouring method has the advantages of causing very little environment pollution, producing very little waste solutions, using colouring matters of abundant resource and cheap cost, and obtaining a colored film of excellent thermal resistance, good light-fastness and high hardness. This method can be used for colouring of any aluminium and its alloys.
