Abstract:
Low carbon steel or low carbon alloyed steel is subjected to boron-aluminum co-penetration treatment at 850-950 deg.C in liquid phase, then washed at 800-880 deg.C with a special cleaner. The hardness, Hv, of the treated surface reaches 1560-2300, its anti-corrosion and heat-resisting ability are excellent. This material can be used instead of stainless and heat-resisting steel to make small/moderate size machine parts. This technology is simple, convenient, low costing, ligh productive, easy applicable, and the adhered penetration agent is recoverable.
