Abstract:
     The (Tic Ti(BN) Tin) composite hard coating material of this invention is a surface coating material used for cutting tool, mould and wear-resistant part. It shows the advantages of possessing good wear-resistance and impact toughness at the same time, besides, metal chips are not easily adhering to it. The cutter life of the coated hard alloy tool is longer than twice of the life of those in current use, and ca twice of that of (Tic Al2O3) coating. The life of high speed steel tool and mould by this composite hard coating is lengthened even more remarkably, to six times or more of that of the base material without coating.
