Abstract:
     The weight percentages of constituents of the boron-permeation agent used in this method are: borax containing water of crystallization (18-30%) si(3-20%) graphite (balance). This method improves the guality of boron-permeating layer, reduces the costs of boron-permeating process, has eliminated the problem of toxic pollution of environment by previously used boron-permeating agent, and shows a favourable effect to the boron-permeating chemical heat-treatment of carbon steel, structural alloy steel and many kinds of high-alloy tool-steel.
