Abstract:
     A method and a device used for drawing metallic wire or strip vertically through a pair of refractory material clear pads from hot-dip coating tank is disclosed. The wire or strip passing through the pads are moved into a cooling liquid chamber supported by at least a part of the pads. There are inlet and outlet means for the cooling liquid in the chamber, in which a wall of the chamber can be disassembled to be convenient for discharging the liquid quickly from the chamber. And for the chamber-internal operating, replacing the pads and/or repassing the wire through it.
