Abstract:
     This invention is that the thermocompression forming steel die for use in the electric vacuum, plastic, rubber and glass industries etc. is placed under the vacuum condition at room temperature, and on its surface a thin layer of the silicon nitride is formed by sputtering, and at the room temperature a mixed ion-beam protective film integrated with the die is formed by the nitride ion-beam bombardment, so that the high-temperature oxidation resistance and abrasion resistance are increased, its service life is increased and its cost of production is greatly reduced.
