| This invention concerns a boronisation agent which is used in chemical heat treatment for high temp. alloy steel. The constitution of the agent contains (wt %): electrolytic aluminum 4-12, sodium chloride 8-15, sodium carbonate 8-15, sodium borate (technical grade) 58-80. When making the agent, the chemicals are dried step by step, then melted and at last keeped for a period. This invention can be used for boronisation treatment to large, medium and small size elements made up of carbon steel, alloy steel, partic high temp. alloy steel. The agent has advantages: good fluidity, low corrsion, no pollution problem, easy to wash out, low cost due to one batch of it can be used for 20-40 times and the excellent quality of the elements treated by this agent. | |||
