| For enhancing the endurance of alloy constructional steel parts, the depth of the nitriding layer should be increased and the surface brittle compound should be restrained as far as possible. Using the N2 H2 mixed gas containing 5-50% of nitrogen to make the glowing ion-nitridation for total 45-65 hours in three stages: 450-550 deg.C, 550-650 deg.C, 450-550 deg.C, the invention gets a nitrided layer of 0.7-1.0 mm, in which the composition of surface phase is gamma'homogeneous compound or pure diffusion layer without compound. | |||
