Abstract:
     This invention concerns the glass vacuum bottle coated with aluminium film as a heat reflecting layer instead of the silver film coated by a chemical process in the prior art. The process for coating silver is rather complex, requires the use of expensive silver, and entails environmental pollution. According to the present invention, the aluminium film is coated by evaporation of aluminium under vacuum to substitute the silver film and the process is done by a special equipment, so that, the noble metal silver can be saved, the existing process is simplified, and the problem of environmental pollution is eliminated. Taking a 5 1b vacuum bottle coated with aluminium film as an example, when 98-100 deg.C hot water is poured into the bottle under ambient temp. of 20 deg.C, after 12 hrs temp. of water will be 76 deg.C on an average, and after 24 hrs, 80% of the bottles will keep the water temp. no less than 60 deg.C.
