Abstract:
     This invention relates to a Zn-base alloy for making the holder of rolling bearing entity and other antiwear structural members. The alloy is made of such metals (wt. %) as Al (25-35), Cu (0.1-1.5), Mg (0.005-0.15), Pb (0.5-5.0) and Zn (residue). It can be modified by Ti salt and cast by using metallic mould or centrifugal method, or shaped by using die casting or liq. drop-forging. Its strength, plasticity and toughness can be improved by thermal treatment. Its strength is greater than 441N/sq.mm, specific elongation greater than 14% and impact toughness greater than 75 J/sq.cm. It has good cutting processability and wearability better than that of lead brass.
