Abstract:
     Method for fining Ti-Al based alloy grains includes smelting said alloy, constant-temp. forge or thermal extrusion at 900-1250 deg.C, recrystallization in gamma-alpha2 phase region at 700-1120 deg.C for 3-30 hours, and homogenization in alpha phase region at 1260-1350 deg.C for 10min-4hr. If necessary, said fining process may be conducted two or more times.
