| A low-temp. super-plasticity pretreating process for Al-Li alloy includes such steps as uniforming and milling the surface of alloy ingot, wrapping aluminium, heating to 300-400 deg.C, applying 10-15 MPa and insulating at the same temp. for 30-50 min, hot-rolling to 10 mm at 450 deg.C, solid dissolving at 530 deg.C for 1-2 hr, ageing at 360-420 deg.C for 24-40 hr, cold-rolling to 1.2-1.5 mm, low-temp. recrystallizing at 250-450 deg.C for 25-40 min and quenching in water, and features lowering super-plasticity deformation temp. by 60-100 deg.C, increasing strain rate by 10 times and effectively surppressing oxidation and lithium loss in the process of super-plasticity treatment and strain. It is suitable for low-temp. super-plasticity pretreatment of Al-Li-Cu-Mg-Zr series alloys. | |||
