Abstract:
    This invention relates to the production process of high purity gold alloy, includes (1) adding minute amounts of certain elements and (2) conducting heat treatment,Which having a hardness comparable to that of 18-karat gold, produced at a comparatively slow processing rate, thereby improving the workability, heat resistance, flaw resistance, and durability which high-purity gold is devoid of. The hardened alloy is not extremely softened even when subjected to heat treatment such as brazing and/or welding in the subsequent steps. The articles produced therefrom by not plastic working but casting have a hardness comparable to that of articles hardened by plastic working.
